What is chirotherapy?
Chiropractic or chiropractic means "reset" in German. The basis of every chiropractic is the diagnosis of joint misalignments, which is learned by the doctors experienced in chiropractic to be able to touch and feel, as has been traditionally used in Chinese medicine. Movable joints, large and small, function like a hinge, but can easily be dislocated, causing sudden, severe pain that often mimics a herniated disc. So pain like that will go through misalignments or blockages triggered in the joints. The chiropractor finds even the smallest slipped joint in the spine and straightens it up again, relocates the small joint. This not only stops the pain, but also makes the mobility, stiff neck or spine mobile and pain-free again immediately. The field of chirotherapy – includes chiropractic methods of diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the musculoskeletal system, especially the mobility of the joints. The recovery of a pain-free condition is ultimate goal of chiropractic.

She follows them manipulative treatment in the free direction based on the irritation point diagnostics. The gentle manipulation is done without hard force and mostly too without loud cracking phenomena. The induction of the motor systemical and local pain reaction is reduced. Chirotherapy often brings good achievements, because it not only treats symptoms, but root of suffering .

What are contraindications to chiropractic care?
However, whether chirotherapy makes sense for a patient depends on his health status away. Contraindications include a recent herniated disc, previously damaged vertebrae, bone tumors, osteoporosis (bone loss) or arteriosclerosis in the area of the cervical vertebrae. Before any manipulation of the spine, it is therefore carefully clarified whether treatment is an option.
